REPLACEMENT STYLI
Over time your stylus may deteriorate and a damaged or worn out stylus can damage your record collection. If you hear or see the following symptoms, please don’t use your record player until you have replaced the stylus: An overabundance of sibilance, visible damage such as a misshapen cantilever or if the needle starts to “skip forward or bounce” or black residue is stuck to the point of the needle.
CARTRIDGE EXCHANGE
Styli in Moving Coil (MC) cartridges are non-replaceable. To support Goldring customers who have an out-of-warranty Moving Coil cartridge with a worn stylus we offer an Exchange service where we take cartridges in any condition back excluding user damage regardless of where the cartridge purchase originally took place and provide a completely new equivalent or better moving coil model at a substantial discount to the new price. Exchange Service cartridges must be returned to Goldring and this can also be handled by any authorised Goldring partner.
